As corny as it sounds, I've recently found that no matter how discouraged or annoyed I am, the following video always seems to make me smile at least a little. Being a fan of good karma, I now share it with you.
As a professional artist who's used Adobe's products for decades, I felt it was time I offered my 2 cents on Adobe's recent PR, legal, commercial, and philosophical dumpster fire, involving problematic verbiage in their Creative Cloud subscription Terms of Service relating to Adobe's alleged right to potentially utilize customer data saved to the Creative Cloud to (among other possible things) train Artificial Intelligence models. In the second half of the video, I talk about alternatives to Adobe software that I know at least a little about firsthand, and I touch on recent developments that are still unfolding regarding Adobe's Creative Cloud, the Terms of Service, Artificial Intelligence, usage of customer data, and the US Justice Department. In this video, discover the calming beauty of acrylic pouring in my very first attempt at the funnel method of this art form, set to soothing meditation music. In this video, I explore the magic of fluid art using just four carefully chosen colors—most mixed by hand—to create a vibrant, harmonious piece without overwhelming the canvas. My goal was to prove that sometimes, less is truly more: too many colors can muddy the results, while a limited palette lets each hue shine. If you want to beautify your own walls with colorful pieces of abstract art, then check out my first acrylic pour video and try this simple paint casting technique yourself. Feel free to watch as I zen out and illustrate Kelnacca to some purly instrumental music. Kelnacca was the enigmatic Wookiee Jedi Master from Star Wars: The Acolyte. While the Acolyte is quite far from my favorite Star Wars show/story, I was really taken with the look and concept of a proper Wookiee Jedi. Kelnacca is a Force-sensitive Wookiee from Kashyyyk, known for his role during the High Republic Era and his appearance in The Acolyte series. Despite his brief screen time, Kelnacca’s unique look and mysterious backstory have captured the imaginations of certain Star Wars fans, and whether you are a Star Wars fan, a fellow artist, someone looking for classical music to fall asleep to, or just love watching art come to life, don’t forget to subscribe and sound off in the comments. ------ #StarWars #Kelnacca #TheAcolyte #ArtTutorial #Inking #Drawing #musicforsleep #StarWarsArt #HighRepublic #WookieeJedi #FanArt
