Fall '09 Show Reel

As darn near everyone and their sister knows, I've been looking for work in visual FX (film, TV, video games) for kind of a while now. A few days ago I cut together a brand new demo reel to showcase the skills I've been honing of late, particularly in the past year or so. Constructive feedback is both welcome and appreciated... but of course, a productive job lead would definitely be preferred. ;)

An Overdue Weigh-in on Adobe's Recent Fiascos

As a professional artist who's used Adobe's products for decades, I felt it was time I offered my 2 cents on Adobe's recent PR, legal, commercial, and philosophical dumpster fire, involving problematic verbiage in their Creative Cloud subscription Terms of Service relating to Adobe's alleged right to potentially utilize customer data saved to the Creative Cloud to (among other possible things) train Artificial Intelligence models. In the second half of the video, I talk about alternatives to Adobe software that I know at least a little about firsthand, and I touch on recent developments that are still unfolding regarding Adobe's Creative Cloud, the Terms of Service, Artificial Intelligence, usage of customer data, and the US Justice Department.     In this dreadfully rushed animated skit, after the loss of the Justice League's resident mage, Batman makes the mistake of recruiting Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu High.
